About Us

Our History

Fourth Street Wine Shop has its roots in Tarboro, North Carolina!

Owners Inez and Stephen Ribustello were formerly the Wine Director and Sommelier at Windows on the World at the World Trade Center. They are also the world's only Advanced Sommelier couple, They moved to Inez's hometown, Tarboro, North Carolina in 2002 and opened On The Square in Tarboro.

When opening the restaurant On The Square, Inez and Stephen Ribustello made it their priority to bring fine New York dining to eastern North Carolina. With a changing menu and an inspired wine list, they changed the face of eating and drinking in Tarboro and surrounding areas. They aim to bring a wine store to Greenville that will allow customers to experience wines from all over the world for any budget. Experience the delight of finding a fine wine at a great price.

In addition to the expertise of Inez and Stephen, we are excited to announce that three of our staff members, Brad Jones, Lindsay Moore & Eric Sanderson all passed their Introductory Sommelier Course & Exam through the Court of Master Sommeliers!

Our Mission

Fourth Street Wine Bar was designed to allow for the sampling of many wines with accompanying light fare. With a variety of wines by the glass it provides an opportunity to try new varieties before you buy the bottle
